King Hussein Center Continues Its Journey Under New Leadership
As part of its commitment to institutional continuity, and following the passing of His Excellency Eng. Ali Abu Al-Ragheb, the Board of Directors of the King Hussein Club announced during an official meeting the appointment of His Excellency Dr. Rajai Saleh Al-Muasher as the Club’s new President, effective January 15, 2026. This decision reaffirms the Club’s dedication to advancing its national mission, drawing on established leadership expertise and a renewed strategic vision.
The appointment was made in accordance with the Club’s bylaws and in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and the executive management, reflecting a firm commitment to institutional values and continuity.
Dr. Al-Muasher is regarded as one of Jordan’s most prominent political and economic figures. Born in 1944, he holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in the United States. He has an extensive record in public service and has been a member of the Senate since 2020. Over the course of his career, he has held several senior positions, including Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and Minister of Economy.
His Excellency also possesses broad experience in the financial and economic sectors, having chaired the boards of several national banks and companies, most notably serving as Chairman of the Board of the Jordan Ahli Bank. He also headed the Royal Committee for Enhancing the National Integrity System and participated in several national committees focused on reform and institutional performance.
Dr. Al-Muasher is known for his clear economic positions and his commitment to well-considered reform programs. His career has been marked by a strong emphasis on aligning vision with implementation, reflecting an approach grounded in responsibility and transparency in public service.
In this new phase, the King Hussein Club looks forward to building upon its past achievements under leadership that brings deep political and economic insight, as well as extensive national experience. This will further strengthen the Club’s role and mission, preserve its standing as an active institution serving the community, and uphold its core values as it moves confidently toward a brighter future under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
