Founded in 1958 under the royal patronage of His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal—just seven years after his accession to the throne—the King Hussein Club stands as a prestigious social and cultural institution. Nestled in the historic Jabal Amman area, the club was envisioned as a space where tradition meets sophistication. It offers members an exceptional environment that caters to both social and cultural aspirations. With a variety of thoughtfully designed facilities, the club has become a distinguished destination for hosting special gatherings, events, and meetings.
A Legacy of Excellence Since 1958
Founded by His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal, the King Hussein Club was established as a space for community building and cultural exchange. Named in his honor, the club reflects His Majesty’s vision of fostering unity and providing a welcoming environment for both Jordanians and expatriates.
The King Hussein Club underwent significant renovations under the leadership of His Excellency Mr. Zeid Al-Rifai. His commitment to preserving the club’s legacy while modernizing its facilities ensured that it remained a vibrant hub for community engagement, in line with the original vision of His Majesty King Hussein.
The King Hussein Club is proud to have received an Honorable Mention in the prestigious City Club category, earning its place among the Top 100 city clubs worldwide.
His Excellency Ali Abu Ragheb has been officially appointed as Chairman, succeeding the late Zaid Al Rifai (may his soul rest in peace). With a distinguished track record and a forward-looking vision, he is well-positioned to lead the King Hussein Club into a new chapter of excellence and growth.
As we honor the memory of His Excellency Zaid Al-Rifai, former Chairman of the King Hussein Club, we reflect on the legacy of a man whose life was driven by a profound dedication to service, an unwavering love for his homeland, and a relentless pursuit of progress.
During his tenure as Chairman, the late Zaid Al-Rifai demonstrated remarkable leadership and a steadfast commitment, serving as a source of inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Under his guidance, the Club witnessed significant renovations and development projects aimed at enhancing its social, cultural, and charitable services, in alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.
